SLFP committee to review COPE report

A committee appointed by the SLFP Central Committee (CC) chaired by Transport and Civil Aviation Minister and senior vice president of the party Nimal Siripala de Silva will review the COPE report and its recommendations and decide the next course of action, General Secretary of the UPFA, Untitled-1

Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said.   
Minister Amaraweera told the media at his Ministry yesterday that the CC met on Monday night chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena appointed Nimal Siripala De Silva to the committee to submit the report to President Sirisena before January 2017.   
“We want to see an end to this sordid transaction as early as possible and that is why the committee has been mandated to submit its report with recommendation to President Sirisena in two months,” he stressed.
