GCE A/L begins today

The GCE Advanced Level examination will be held at 2,230 examination centres countrywide from today, the Examinations Department said yesterday. 


It said 315,228 applicants including students with special needs were eligible to sit this year’s exam.   


The Examinations Department warned that any person sitting the GCE A/L examination if found using electronic devices at the examination centres or during the examination would be barred from sitting examinations for five years.   


Meanwhile, it said the Grade Five scholarship examination is also scheduled to be held on August 20 and all tuition
