SSC Girihagama informed Court the eighth suspect Amal Karunasekara was also a mastermind behind the case and so far the CID had recorded four statements from him. She also informed Court the CID had received evidence that the documents of the Military Intelligence safe-houses were controlled by the eighth suspect but none of those four statements which were recorded by him had not revealed any details about these houses.    Accordingly, the Magistrate ordered the CID to record a statement from Chief of State Intelligence Service Sisira Mendis and record a further statement from the eighth suspect.
