Life-1-2She surprised the world in February with a City Hall wedding to producer Sebastian Bear-McClard after reportedly only dating him for weeks. And in the new June issue of Marie Claire, cover girl Emily Ratajkowski, 26, has spoken up about people online 'writing-off' her new marriage. 'No one can take women seriously on any choices that they make, especially if they’re unique to them and they don’t play into the way we think women should get married,' she said. 'It's a constant writing-off.'

The London-born model and actress recalled: "People came after my marriage, like: "Wow. I give it three weeks." I’m like: "What?"' She wore a $200 Zara pantsuit to her intimate nuptials, and said about it to Marie Claire: 'When you don’t have a real wedding, it’s for you. I wore what I wanted to wear. It really felt like the outfit that was most me, and that made me feel good.'

Emily confided: 'I actually thought there was a chance that no one would find out,' explaining with a chuckle: 'I am still getting used to fame. I forget, you know.' Inside the magazine, Emily showed off her smashing legs as she sat on the floor in a nightie-like Ferragamo dress and held a cup of noodles. On the cover, she gave the camera a smouldering stare from beneath a Burberry hat, modelling a thin powder pink Ralph Lauren top and letting her hair down.

In a black and white snapshot of herself in the same outfit, she stuck her tongue out and turned to reveal a glistening drop necklace. Her interview also included a discussion of her breasts – the envy, she says, of several women who visit a plastic surgeon's office where a friend of Emily's works. 'Boobs are funny. They hurt sometimes, and sometimes they’re the thing that makes me feel the most powerful. They’re a key to my sexuality.'
