St. Peter’s Group of ‘96 registered a close five-run win over the touring Penang Sports Club from Malaysia in a T/20 fixture at Morauwa.


The visitors have been sponsored by Butterfly Vacations who are also the ground handlers and transport agents.

Penang at Moratuwa 

Veteran Nalliah Devarajan who has seen 53 moons sparkled with an unbeaten 64 runs to pilot Colombo Masters Cricket Association to a comfortable nine wicket win over the touring Penang Sports Club from Malaysia at Moratuwa.
Taking first lease of the wicket, the visitors were contained to 128 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their quota of 20 overs.


With 129 runs to chase down, Colombo Masters were given a solid start of 896 runs by their openers Udaya Yatawara (40) and Devarajan (64 not out) that was inclusive of four hits to the ropes and two towering sixes to coast home to an easy win.
