The Ravana Balaya (RB) yesterday complained to the Bribery Commission about the MPs and state officials who received cash from the Perpetual Treasuries Ltd (PTL) and its affiliated companies.

What State Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe said was wrong. The money was given after the 2015 general elections

RB secretary the Ven. Iththekande Saddhatissa Thera said several MPs including Sujeewa Senasinghe, Sarath Fonseka and Dayasiri Jayasekara had admitted that they had obtained money from PTL owner Arjun Aloysius.

He said the statement made by Mr. Senasinghe was false because he had received the money after the 2015 general election and urged the Bribery Commission to investigate this matter.
