Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate yesterday ordered to conduct an inquiry in-camera in Magistrate’s Chamber on the next hearing with Army Intelligence Director Brigadier Kodituwakku.

The Magistrate ordered the inquiry in-camera at Magistrate’s Chamber on the next hearing Brigadier Kodituwakku, a representative from the AG’s Department and the CID officers with regard to important facts about Baduwatte Army Safehouse in Dompe, which was traced as the location where Keith Noyahr had been detained.

When the case was taken up in court, Senior State Counsel Lakmini Girihagama informed the Magistrate that the Intelligence Director had refused to give details about the Safehouse stating it would breach national security.
She requested an inquiry in-camera to find out the reasons how it can be a threat to National Security if details were given about the Army Safehouse in Dompe.
