India and Sri Lanka posted their second successive wins to remain unbeaten after the second-round of matches in the Under-19 Asia Cup Cricket Tournament worked off in Bangladesh yesterday.


India Under-19 guided by centuries from Devdutt Padikkal and Anuj Rawat and a six-wicket haul from Siddarth Desai recorded a massive 227-run win over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) while Sri Lanka Under-19 outclassed the hapless Hong Kong Under-19 by 10 wickets in a low-scoring match.

India U-19: 354/6 in 50 overs (Devdutt Padikkal 121, Anuj Rawat 102, Pavan Shah 45, Sameer Choudhary 43, Ayush Badoni 21 n.o, Alishan Sharafu 2/46, Aaron Benjamin 2/88).


UAE: 127 in 33.5 overs (Ali Mirza 41, Figy John 24, Fahad Nawaz 22, Siddarth Desai 6/24).


At Zahar Ahmed Stadium (Sri Lanka U-19 won by 10 wickets)


Hong Kong U-19: 56 in 33.1 overs (Shashika Dulshan 5/19, Nishan Madushka 21 n.o). 


Sri Lanka U-19: 58/0 in 9.2 overs (Nipun Dhananjaya 35 n.o, Nishan Madushka 21 n.o).
