The magistrate also directed that the notices be issued to them immediately.

The order was given after considering the request made by Deputy Solicitor General (DSG) Dileepa Peiris that the complainant Namal Kumara and DIG De Silva be ordered to assist the investigations at a time when there was no suspects named.

The Magistrate also directed that the two LMG weapons taken into CID custody be sent to the Government Analyst and a report to be submitted.
