Chief Prelates of Malwathu-Asgiriya Chapters: Multisectoral solidarity vital to resolve impasse

All sectors should jointly meet to resolve the political impasse that has erupted in the country, said chief prelates of the Malwathu and Asgiriya chapters while addressing a group of UNP MPs who called on them recently. 
The group of UNP MPs included Navin Dissanayake, Mayantha Dissanayake, Harshana Rajakaruna and Hirunika Premachandra. 


Addressing the politicians at the Malwathu Maha Viharaya, chief prelate Ven. Thibbotuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera  said the country was now in a mess and all parties should unite to resolve the political conflict, if not the country would face serious repercussions.  


Sharing similar sentiments, chief prelate of the Asgiriya chapter Ven. Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thera said all parties should join in solving the political issue.
