LIOC increases fuel prices

Price of Kerosene and Lanka Petrol 92 octane remains unchanged

The fuel price revision by the Finance Ministry has resulted in the Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) also increasing its fuel prices from midnight today though the price of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane would remain unchanged. 


 LIOC Senior Vice President (Finance) Pramod Jain said according to the latest price revision, the price of Lanka Auto Diesel (LAD) would be increased by Rs.4 per litre to Rs.103.  
The price of Xtra Premium 95 Petrol (Euro 4) was increased by Rs.5 a litre and Super Diesel (Euro 4) by Rs.8 per litre, he said.   

Mr. Jain said the price of Lanka Kerosene will remain at Rs.70 per litre.  

He said this price revision was done considering that there was no change in the duty structure or statutory charges.
